“Do Not Forget Me Istanbul” film’s premiere screening took place as part of an international film festival in Istanbul.
The film presents story of people of different nationalities, which are united by the multi-culture Turkish city. The film comprises five novels directed by Armenian, Greek, Jew, Palestinian and Turk.
One part of the film was directed by Erik Nazaryan, a winner of Golden Apricot film festival, who presented a story of an Armenian from Diaspora, telling about a misfortune of an Armenian in Turkey.
The word ‘Genocide’ was pronounced for the first time in the history of Istanbul film festival during the film’s screening.
The film will be screened in Armenia during Golden Apricot film festival in summer of 2011, the festival press service reported
