AZERI DEPUTIES SUGGEST INCLUDING GERMANY IN OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS
03.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Azerbaijani Milli Majlis deputy Asim Mollazade stated that France should be excluded from the OSCE Minsk Group (MG).
As "Bilik Dunyasi" reports, the deputy stated that "after the well known pro-Armenian decisions of the French leadership it became clear that the activity of France as a co-chair of the MG will not bring anything good for Azerbaijan".
Mollazade noted that Germany's participation as a co-chair of MG in place of France "will shift the balance of forces in favor of Azerbaijan". "It should be taken into account that the influence of the Armenian Diaspora in Germany is not so great. Moreover, Germany doesn't have oil interests in Azerbaijan," the deputy said. --0--
