AZERBAIJAN DOESN'T FAVOR THE PLANS OF FORMATION OF PEACEKEEPING SUB-UNIT IN ARMENIA

"A state-aggressor doesn't have the right to carry out peacekeeping activity," stated the Defense minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev, voicing his opinion on the formation in the Armenian Armed Forces of a unit, meant to participate in peacekeeping operations under the umbrella of UN.
As "Trend" reports, Safar Abiyev named this idea "absurd" at the meeting with the Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mercurios Karafotias.
"We were greatly surprised when we learned that Greece will assist Armenia in the formation of this unit", Azeri Defense Minister said. -0-
