Fans started leaving Petrovsky stadium in the middle of the second half of EURO 2012 Armenia vs. Russia qualifier held on June 4 in Saint Petersburg. As soon as the second half started, fans put up “Prior to the Law” banner against the background of a capacity crowd. And in the middle of the second half, they put up “After the Law” banner and left the stadium.

They boycotted the final part of the game, as a sign of protest against possible adoption of a law on fans in Russia. The country's fans think that the measures to be taken against them in future will be too tough.
