A suicide was reported in Armenian armed forces.According to Armenian Defence Ministry, on June 28, a conscript Tigran Hambartsumyan was reported missing. A search was initiated in this connection.

On June 29, at 01:15 p.m. the body of a soldier was found in a military unit-adjacent wood with a wound in his cubital fossa corresponding to the size of a razor found next to him.

An investigation is under way.

Despite suicide evidence, Hambartsumyan’s parents who spoke to him on the phone insist he was in a good mood a day before the incident. Hambartsumyan asked his parents to refill his mobile card for him, yet, when they called the soldier in an hour after doing so, Hambartsumyan was unavailable.
