Should Heritage run for parliamentary elections, not only will it retain its parliamentary seats but will double them too, Heritage opposition party leader said.

“Still, the party aims at alteration of Armenia’s political system, rather than doubling of parliamentary seats,” Raffi Hovannisian told journalists at Liberty Square-hosted gathering, urging for equal conditions for all election participants.

Asked to give a forecast as to the possibility of snap elections, Hovannisian merely mentioned that pre-term elections are what the society demands.

“It doesn’t matter if extraordinary elections are held in Armenia. What matters is a change to create a new Armenia,” he stressed.
