The President of Poland Bronisaw Komorowski has arrived in South Caucasus. Currently President Komorowski is on a visit to Azerbaijan. At his arrival, the President was welcomed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yaqub Eyyubov and other officials.
President Komorowski will visit Georgia on July 26. According to Trend News, he is Mikheil Saakashvili’s personal guest and will visit Georgia within the South Caucasus tour.
President Komorowski’s meeting with Georgian top officials will be held in Batumi. In addition to Saakashvili, Komorowski will meet with Georgian parliamentary chairman David Bakradze.
The meetings will focus on Georgian-Polish cooperation, as well as Poland’s assistance to Georgia in the country’s European integration and international organizations. This is Komorowski’s first visit to Georgia.
On June 28, Polish President will arrive in Armenia to meet Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.
