SPEAKER OF THE GREEK PARLIAMENT HOPES FOR PEACE SETLEMENT OF THE KARABAKH CONFLICT
04.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Speaker of the Greek Parliament Apostolos Kaklamanis received yesterday the leader of the Armenian "Dashnaktsutyun" party Hrant Margarian.
At the meeting Mr. Kaklamanis expressed the hope that problems in the region of Caucasus and specially the dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan be solved in a peaceful way.
Mr. Kaklamanis referred to the historic friendship ties between the Greek and Armenian people, stressing that Greece would support Armenia in its democratic course. -0-
