Manvel Maloyan, as an athletics coach, started to work at N1 Yerevan Sports School in 1982, but in 1996 he was dismissed, and the Armenian Athletics Federation has had no contact with him since then, a sports official said.

As Narine Shahbazyan, Secretary General of Armenian Athletics Federation, told PanARMENIAN.Net, Maloyan’s son, David Maloyan was not engaged in athletics and she cannot say anything about him as a coach or sportsman.

One of Maloyan’s friends told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that David has got married recently and was going to arrive in Armenia.
