The reports saying that Azerbaijani lieutenant Akif Abdiyev was wounded as result of ceasefire violation by Armenians are untrue and are nothing but another attempt to represent Armenian side as aggressor, Artsakh defense army said.

“On August 21 evening, Azerbaijanis violated the ceasefire wounding NKR army soldier Never Sargsyan, born 1980. Sargsyan is currently in hospital. His health state is rated as stable,” defense army said in a statement.

Earlier, Azeri media circulated reports about ceasefire violation as result of which officer Akif Abdiyev was injured.
