ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER NOTES IMPACT OF KARABAKH PROBLEM ON ARMENIAN-TURKISH RAPPROCHEMENT DECREASED
The relations between Armenia and Turkey today are not so much conditioned by the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as before. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian holds the opinion. Speaking at a press conference in Stepanakert yesterday, he noted that the settlement of the Karabakh problem, as a precondition, is still on the agenda of Armenian-Turkish talks. However the establishment of bilateral relations today does not depend on that issue so much. "It gives hope that there will be an opportunity to concentrate exclusively on issues of bilateral relations and overcoming the obstacles available," the minister said.
