30.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Most likely, a grenade blew up in the house of the Military Prosecutor of Armenia Gagik Jhangirian, where an explosion occurred this night, informed MEDIAMAX a source in the law-enforcement bodies of Armenia.
According to the source, the house is considerably damaged, though the building bears no external signs of explosion. The source also said that the investigation denies the variant of domestic explosion.
Gagik Jhangirian heads the investigation group, which studies the case of the terrorist act in the Armenian Parliament, realized on October 27, 1999. It is expected that the criminal case of the terrorist act, the victims of which became the premier, the speaker of the parliament, 6 deputies and a minister, will be transferred to the court in the nearest future. -0-
