Eamon Gilmore notes conflict resolution as priority for Ireland’s OSCE chairmanship

The future OSCE chairperson-in-office, Ireland’s Foreign Minister presented the priorities of Ireland’s OSCE chairmanship.

As Eamon Gilmore told a news conference organized on the sidelines of OSCE Ministerial Council sitting Ireland will boost potential aimed at conflict prevention and resolution as 1st priority.

Gilmore further stressed Ireland’s intention to host an OSCE meeting in April 2012, during which it will share its experience in conflict settlement and post conflict problems resolution.

Ireland’s FM also noted struggle against corruption and ensuring media freedom as 2nd and 3rd priorities respectively.
