Currently in Yerevan, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan on December 23.

The two men focused on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement stressing the need of peaceful solution to the issue, in compliance with international law principles.

Presidents further focused on the situation in the Middle East attaching importance to establishment of peace and stability in the region.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is in Armenia on an official visit.
