ARMENIAN PRESIDENT LEFT FOR INDIA ON VISIT
Upon the invitation of Indian president Abdul Kalam Armenian president Robert Kocharian left for India on a state visit. Ministers of foreign affairs, trade and economic development, education and science, agriculture, as well as businessmen accompany the president in his trip. In the course of the visit to last till November 1, R. Kocharian will meet with the Indian top leadership. Armenian-Indian negotiations of extended composition will also be held, upon the completion of which signing of bilateral documents is planned. Within the framework of the visit the Armenian leader will meet with representatives of business circles of India and will participate in a ceremony of opening of a Center for Caucasian Studies at Chandigarkh Institute of Industrial Research. Robert Kocharian will participate in inauguration ceremony of the building of the Armenian embassy in New-Delhi, will meet with Armenian diaspora representatives, which number about 200.
