Plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president in the Southern federal district of Russia Victor Kazantsev is awarded the title of honorary citizen of the Armenian city of Gyumri. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, the decision was passed owing to V. Kazantsev's longstanding service in the city. The Russian president's plenipotentiary representative also received an invitation from the Armenian prime minister to visit the republic to discuss issues of interaction in the economic and cultural spheres. "The visit may be very important for developing the relations between Armenia and the south of Russia," - a representative of the Southern federal district of Russia noted.
