Due to the data provided by British analysts, Armenia occupies the 101-th position over the world according to the index of military potential, yielding at that to Azerbaijan and Turkey. As reported by Nezavisimaya Gazeta Russian newspaper making reference to the article published in RUSI Journal, the United British Royal Institute for Defense Investigation carried out a research for a comparative assessment of the military potential of the countries of the world. The US followed by Russia and China occupies the first position. Turkey is 16-th in the chart while Azerbaijan is 86-th.
