COURT TO SET ABOUT CONSIDERATION OF APPEALS OF DEFENDANTS ON CASE OF TERRORIST ACT IN ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT
January 13, the Court of Appeal on Military and Criminal Cases of Armenia will set about hearing complaints on the case of the act of terrorism in the Armenian Parliament, committed in October 1999. As reported by Armenpress agency, the December 27, 2003 verdict of the court of first instance was appealed against by Ashot Knyazian and Edik Grigorian, sentenced to life imprisonment, as well as by Hamlet Stepanian, condemned to 14 years of deprivation of liberty. Nairi and Karen Hunanians, their uncle Vram Galstian, as well as Derenik Bejanian, sentenced to life imprisonment, did not go to the law.
