ANCA CALLED ALL AMERICANS TO REVERE MEMORY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE VICTIMS BY "120-SECOND SILENCE"
The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has called the US population to revere the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in with two minutes of silence. According to the ANCA, the commemoration of the Armenians annihilated in the Ottoman Turkey in 1915 will make a considerable contribution to the common cause of the struggle against genocide and will help to prevent such crimes in the future. "The 120 seconds of silence will also become a peculiar manifestation of respect to the 15-th anniversary of the signing the Genocide Convention by the United States and will contribute to the fulfillment of the US Senate Resolution 307 referring to genocide," - the report says.
