The issue of opening the Armenian-Turkish border was not discussed in the course of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan's visit to the US last week, US State Department Spokesperson Richard Boucher stated in Washington, Mediamax agency reported. Thus, in fact statements of Turkish media that in the course of the visit Erdogan managed to avoid mentions of "the Armenian issue" are confirmed.
