The game developer Halfbrick announced the Xbox Live Arcade title Fruit Ninja Kinect has topped 1 million downloads since launching late last summer, according to USA Today.
The console release of Fruit Ninja features much of the simplicity of its mobile counterpart, which requires players to slice fruit flying on the screen in a variety of challenges.
The twist involves the Kinect motion sensor. Instead of just swiping a finger, players wave their arms like giant blades and dice bananas, strawberries and other fruit as they pop on the screen.
The game also includes split-screen multiplayer, so players can chop away with a friend.
