Leadership of the European People’s Party (EPP) congratulated participants of the 13th congress of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia which launched in Yerevan.

RPA has recently joined the EPP.

In particular, EPP deputy vice-president Rumiana Jeleva said RPA’s accession into EPP became possible due to reforms implemented in Armenia.

“Armenian government headed by President Serzh Sargsyan demonstrated their commitment to implementing reforms in the country which bring them closer to EU,” she stressed.

EPP president Wilfried Martens sent a video congratulation to the congress participants wishing them productive work.
