Bridgewater is a three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, also having secured a Tony Award and a slew of other prizes. Yerevan Jazz Fest is an annual music festival held in Yerevan, Armenia every fall.
It is one of the biggest music events in the cultural life of Yerevan which gathers hundreds of musicians and international guests from around the world, including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joss Stone, Richard Bona, Nino Katamadze and many others. This year’s festival is dedicated to American-Armenian record producer and executive George Avakian known particularly for his work with Columbia Records, and his production of albums by Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis and other prominent jazz musicians. Grammy Award-winning British singer and songwriter Joss Stone will also perform in Armenia in the framework of the festival on Sunday.
