PanARMENIAN.Net - Pomegranate Seed festival dedicated to the 135th birth anniversary of renowned Armenian poet Avetik Isahakyan kicked off in Yerevan on October 25.

“This festival is a real feast for me,” actor Yervand Manaryan said. “It was theater that helped the Armenians people preserve spiritual values during the years when Armenia was not independent,” he said.

Chairman of Proscenium cultural and education association Georgy Khojoyan said for his part that each performance will be staged twice, as the small theater house can’t host the numerous audience.

This year’s program will feature 36 performances.
