RA Minister of Culture denies rumors about sale of Sundukyan theater

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan denied rumors about the sale of Sundukian National Academic Theater.

“I think that similar rumors should not exist in principle and they should be assessed not only by the RA Ministry of Culture, but also by the public, as it refers to all of us,” Poghosyan told a press conference on December 25.

According to her, similar rumors should be suppressed at once and this topic should be closed once and for all.

“If the theater faces crisis, it does not mean that it will be sold. Any theater may face crisis and better times,” the Minister said, adding that not a cultural site was sold during her tenure.
