VH Music unable to explain Sarah Connor’s concert cancellation in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Founder of VH Music company Vahe Harutyunyan said that the company conveys its apologies to all those people, who bought tickets for Sarah Connor’s concert due March 8 in Yerevan.

“The company will return money for the sold tickets,” Harutyunyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“The company’s address and phone number are mentioned on tickets, thus people can apply to us and we will return money,” Harutyunyan said, adding that it will be done stage-by-stage.

Harutyunyan was unable to explain the reasons behind the concert cancellation.

It was found out during the press conference that the concert organizers even have not agreed with the administration of Karen Demirchyan Sports & Concerts Complex with respect to a hall.

Besides, only 24% of tickets have been sold for the concert instead of 84% declared by the company.

It is possible that the Armenian singers, who were supposed to take the stage with Connor, will sue VH Music.

Armenian artists Sirusho and Ara Martirosyan, as well as Russian singer Arsenium were expected to perform with the world known singer.

Ara Martirosyan, who arrived in Yerevan from Los Angeles to participate in the concert, said: “If a hall is provided, I will perform a concert irrespective of how many people come to it."

Sarah Connor canceled her concert at Karen Demirchyan Sports & Concerts Complex in Yerevan, Live Legend Entertainment told PanARMENIAN.Net on March 4.

“As the local promoter did not fulfill the contract and as well broke further agreements it is not possible for the artist to come to Yerevan to perform for her fans. Under these circumstances we ask for your understanding and hope to have the chance to come to Armenia for other shows as soon as possible," reads the statement of Live Legend Entertainment.
