Ralph Yirikian: classical music is a refuge from stress

PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS is the sponsor of the 7th National Gallery International Music Festival which kicked off at the National Gallery of Armenia.

The major aim of the festival is to present pieces of Armenian and world classical music performed by talented Armenian and foreign musicians and bands, both renowned and unknown in Armenia, to the music loving public.

The program of the festival includes the appearance of Alexander Brusilovski, violin (France), Svetlana Navasardyan, piano, Nikolay Madoyan, violin (Germany), Hakob Jaghatspanyan, guitar, Gleb Karpushkin, French horn (Russia), Hayk Melikyan, piano, Karen Shahgaldyan, violin, Yana Daryan, alto, Julietta Vardanyan, piano, participants of Armenia’s Young Talents London-Yerevan project, composer and conductor Hushair Khayyam (Iran), the chamber orchestra of the festival (artistic director and conductor Aram Talalyan).

“Classical music is a refuge from the stress of everyday life, a sanctuary of treasures having permanent interest and value,” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

The opening ceremony of 7th National Gallery festival is dedicated to the 90th birthday of composer Edward Mirzoyan.
