Music Holiday to be celebrated in Armenia June 21

PanARMENIAN.Net - This year The Music Holiday, having its rise in France, turns 30.

It is the fifth time Armenia celebrates it. On this occasion, the Armenian Ministry of culture jointly with the Embassy of France in Armenia organized a number of musical events in Yerevan and provinces. “This celebration is the evidence of tight Armenian-French ties. I hope this year Armenians will be more active and inspiration will dominate reign the day,” French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud told journalists.

In turn, the RA deputy Minister of Culture Artur Pohgosyan said, “This year we shall focus on youth and children events. We were surprised to receive applications from foreign musicians as well,” he said.

Concerts start at noon in the Victory Park; the event will be closed by the concert of The Beautified project at 9:30pm in the Gafesjian Center for the Arts. Concerts will take place almost in all parks of Yerevan. Vayots Dzor, Lori, Shirak and Syunik provinces will join the holiday.
