Code of Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus coming into force July 6July 5, 2010 - 15:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Kazakhstan hosted sittings of Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and Supreme Body of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. A package of documents was signed in Astana, including a statement by the Presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus on enforcement of the Code of Customs Union of the three countries from July 6, 2010, the Kremlin’s press office said. The EurAsEC summit brought together leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia. Joint measures to overcome consequences of the global financial crisis, establishment of EurAsEC court and EurAsEC budget were in the focus.
