 Harutyun Mesropyan: market basket to climb in Armenia by yearendSeptember 2, 2010 - 14:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Management expert Harutyun Mesropyan supposes that the minimum market basket in Armenia is AMD 65 000, while food basket amounts to AMD 42 000-45 000. According to official data, the minimum market basket cost amounted to AMD 41 052 as of the end of June. The food basket price totaled AMD 26 485. The expert thinks that the market basket will climb by the yearend, as the crisis has not ended yet, given high prices for gold.
