Over 80% of vehicles in Armenia expected to be insured till yearendNovember 19, 2010 - 16:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As of today, approx. 10% of drivers acquired compulsory vehicle insurance policies, executive director of the Association of Armenian Insurance Market Participants Andranik Ohanjanyan stated. “Over 80% of the vehicles in Armenia are expected to be insured till yearend. Car insurance is available at 8 out of 9 insurance companies operating in Armenia.” Ohanjanyan forecasted AMD 13 to 14 billion increase in insurance premiums in case of 100% sale of mandatory vehicle insurance policies.
