24.3% drop recorded in agricultural production in Armenia in January-October 2010December 13, 2010 - 15:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The gross of agricultural and fishery production totaled AMD 536.5bln in January-August 2010 that is 16.7% lower compared to the same period in 2009. 24.2% drop was recorded in agricultural and fishery production in October compared to September 2010, the RA National Statistical Service reported. Meanwhile, 10.8% growth was recorded in fishery production. Crop production amounted to AMD 341.6bln in January-October 2010 that is 23% lower compared to the same period in 2009, while livestock production totaled AMD 187.2bln (-2.5%), fishery production – AMD 7.7bln (-7.7%).
