Belarus to boost trade and economic relations with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Stepan Sukharenko said that the trade turnover between Armenia and Belarus grew by 1.5 times over the past two years.

The trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $45mln in 2010, Sukharenko told journalists in Yerevan.

According to him, the opening of the Armenian-Belarusian Trade House in Yerevan has contributed to the development of economic relations between the two countries. Similar centers are planned to be opened in other cities of Armenia.

“We intend to boost the trade and economic cooperation with Armenia and have rather serious plans in this field,” said Sukharenko.
