Tigran Sargsyan: government to focus on agricultural growth and combating inflation in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that currently agriculture, in which decline was recorded in 2010, is of keen importance for Armenia from the point of view of macroeconomic indices development.

“The decline has resulted in indices worsening and high inflation rate,” Sargsyan told journalists in Yerevan on January 18.

He added that if the government manages to secure a good index in agriculture, naturally, the inflation will also decrease.
