BSC: Armenian government should create fair competitive environment

PanARMENIAN.Net - To investors, Armenia is among the least attractive countries in Caucasus, according to the director of Business Support Center (BSC).

“Among benefits to offer by other countries are Azerbaijan’s internal resources and Georgia’s well-developed tourism and economic freedoms, such as tax legislation. Armenia’s tax legislation, in contrast to one in Georgia, is unpredictable. Even amendments to Tax Code are being made public within several days of their introduction, as opposed to foreign countries where the process takes years,” Samvel Gevorgyan explained.

The expert believes that the Armenian government should offer the enterprises equal chances for development, the chance consisting in creation of a fair competitive environment.
