RA Prime Minister familiarizes himself with services of ARMHOTELS system

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 4, Yerevan hosted the official presentation of the first Armenian online booking system – ARMHOTELS.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was one of the first users of the system. He booked a room for 4 persons in a recreational complex of Arzni, Kotayk region of Armenia, for the weekend.

Sargsyan said that due to the online booking system Armenia will become more available for thousands of Armenians, specifically, 95% of Armenians residing abroad, who have never been in Armenia.

Sargsyan noted that the new system creation will allow increasing services export from Armenia from the point of view of tourism development.

Head of Rumea tempting trips club Ruben Grigoryan noted that 106 hotels from Armenia and NKR have already joined the booking system armhotels.am, while 73 hotels operate online.

Founders of ARMHOTELS intend to integrate into GDS system, while currently the Armenian booking system has already joined Amadeus, Galileo, HRS, Expedia, etc.
