IFC, EDB sign agreement on cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Financial Corporation (IFC) and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) signed a base agreement on cooperation, which will facilitate EDB’s participation in co-financing of IFC investment projects in developing markets, according to the EDB website.

“Global and regional financial institutions should work jointly to achieve striking results. This agreement will allow us to correctly attract financial flows,” said Snezana Stoiljkovic, IFC Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

“This agreement is a new stride in cooperation with this IFC. It’s will transmit an impulse to our joint efforts for development of key economy sectors,” commented Igor Finogenov, EDB board chairman.
