During the reported period, 0.8%, 0.5% and 0.9% growth was recorded in prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes), non-foods and tariffs for services respectively. In March 2011, the index of consumer prices made 111.5% compared to the same period in 2010, including the index of prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) – 115.5%, non-foods - 103.8%, services – 108.4%. In January-March 2011, the index of consumer prices made 111.1% compared to January-March 2010, including the index of prices for foodstuff – 115.2%, non-foods - 103.5%, services – 107.6%. Consumer prices increased by 0.2-2.7% in March compared to February 2011 in all Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Yeghegnadzor (Vayots Dzor region). 0.5% growth was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
