Adil Garibov, Director of the Radiation Problems Institute of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences told Trend on April 6 that Azerbaijan may apply to IAEA for conducting an enlarged expertise at Metsamor NPP. IAEA commission will arrive in Armenia on May 14 to conduct a range of inspections at Metsamor NPP with respect to reactor’s re-launch, fuel and safety, said Garibov.
