CIS Economic Council approves draft treaty on free trade zoneApril 15, 2011 - 19:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan participated in Yalta-hosted CIS Economic Council session. The summit's agenda included 15 issues covering various spheres of economic cooperation within the CIS states; the draft treaty on creation of a free trade zone, aimed at trade liberalization in CIS zone, was approved. Armenian side presented its remarks on the draft treaty to be submitted at the next sitting. Among issues disuccd were interstate programme for innovative cooperation of CIS member states, preparations for the interstate exhibition devoted to the 20th anniversary of CIS, the topical issues of cooperation in the field of transport and exchange of scientific and technical information, food security, social and number of other problems.
