Armenian, Russian energy engineers discuss joint programs in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 19, Yerevan hosted a roundtable on energy titled ‘Joint Energy Programs as Factor for Boosting Bilateral Interregional Ties’.

The event is held as part of First Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum in Yerevan

Armenian coordinator of the roundtable, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan said the event is aimed at discussing joint programs in the field of energy.

Two agreements on goods supply will be signed between Armenian and Russian companies after completion of discussions.

The Russian coordinator of the roundtable, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Yuri Sentyurin noted for his part that “Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s statement made during the plenary sitting that energy has a key role in the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership is confirmed by certain figures and projects implemented in Armenia.”
