Salehi promises successful implementation of Armenia-Iran agreements

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali-Akbar Salehi and Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan signed a number of agreements on cooperation in energy and trade sectors, IRNA reported.

According to the Iranian Minister, the two countries possess sufficient potential to boost cooperation and bilateral trade volumes.

“The trade barter between Iran and Armenia grew by 38% to total $270mln. There are good prospects for transport industry as well,” he said, adding that Armenia can use Iran’s sea routes to expand trade communication in the region.

He voiced confidence that all agreements will be successfully implemented.
