First Caucasian Channel channel to be launched January 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Since January 2011the television company "PIK – Perviy Informacionniy Kavkazsky" (First Caucasian Channel) will start broadcasting in Armenia at the channel satellite - Hot Bird @ E13' (Transponder: 65, frequency: 12015 MHz, Polarization: Horizontal, S/R: 27500, FEC:3/4), as well as it will be available on-line at the web page - www.pik.tv

PIK is the first TV channel to target the north and south Caucasus as a whole, as well as Turkey and Iran. Starting at 7 pm it will broadcast from Georgia six hours a day in Russian, PIK Public Relations Manager Inga Nikagosian told PanARMENIAN.Net

The Channel is a combination of fast, accurate and honest news, innovative web journalism and daily programming that features the best of Caucasian culture and highlight the daily grit of life in the region. Through modern technologies and innovative newsgathering techniques PIK will provide unprecedented coverage of this area.

The channel news bureaus are set up in Moscow, Yerevan, Baku, Kyiv, Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz, as well as Brussels, Ankara, Tehran and Washington.
