HD voice services launched in mobile networks of 14 countries

PanARMENIAN.Net - HD voice services were launched in 14 countries of the world as of the end of January 2011.

Specifically, HD voice services are now launched on mobile networks in Armenia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, Russia, Spain, and the UK, Global mobile Suppliers Association reported.

Armenia is the second country, where HD voice service was launched by Orange company.

The mobile HD voice eco-system is rapidly establishing. Alcatel, HTC, LG, Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson have launched compatible phones. New chipsets supporting HD Voice are confirmed by leading semiconductor companies.

Orange Armenia presented Nokia 5230, a new smartphone allowing HD voice, in Armenia.
