Apple to unveil next generation OS for iPhone in JuneMarch 29, 2011 - 10:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple announced that it will unveil the next generation operating systems for the iPhone and the Macintosh computer at its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco in June. The Cupertino, California-based tech giant said the annual event will be held June 6-10 at San Francisco's Moscone West. "At this year's conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS," Apple senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller said in a statement. "If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss," Schiller said. Originally developed for the iPhone, iOS also now powers Apple's iPad tablet computer and the iPod Touch. Apple said its engineers will host 100 technical sessions during the conference, which typically draws thousands of developers of programs for Macintosh computers, the iPhone, the iPod and the iPad, AFP reports.
