Narek Manasyan wins European Boxing Championships silver for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on Sunday, April 28.

The boxer was supposed to fight against Russia's Muslim Gadzhimagomedov in the final of the 92kg weight category, but did not turn up for his final bout.

The reason for Manasyan's no-show at the final is still unknown. Probably, he has a small injury, Sportball 24 reports.

The Armenian national team finished the tournament with 7 medals in total – 2 silver and 5 bronze.
