Yerevan to host 2nd PowerPoint+Karaoke eventMay 2, 2011 - 11:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 4, the 2nd PowerPoint+Karaoke event will be held at Bureaucrat bookstore in Yerevan. One of the organizers, head of Armenian Project Management Association (APMA) Albert Poghosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that they expect the event to bring together over 60 participants. “This time we would like people who are more mature in creating presentations to participate in it. Our first demo event went well, we got a positive feedback,” he said. The organizers expect to find a sponsor for the 3rd PowerPoint+Karaoke event. “Now we are looking for sponsors for the next PowerPoint+Karaoke events and negotiating with Microsoft Armenia and other IT companies,” Poghosyan said. Hayk Asriyants, co-organizer of the event, thinks that the event has a great target group for each sponsor. “As all participants of PowerPoint+Karaoke have jobs in offices, they are potential buyers of sponsors’ products; even if it is, for example, a car or software,” he said, adding that they would like to involve employees from competitive companies to hold a contest among them. PowerPoint+Karaoke event was first held in Berlin, Germany, in 2006. It aimed to make traditional PowerPoint presentations a funny event.
