Armenian Constitutional Court chairman to speak on Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Armenian Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan and Chairman of RA Court of Cassation Arman Mkrtumyan arrived in Slovakia on the invitation of the country's Supreme Court Chairman Štefan Harabin, secretariat of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe reports.

On April 2, they will participate in a seminar titled “Legal issues of crimes against humanity” organized by the Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic. Mr. Harutyunyan will present a number of issues related to the Armenian Genocide and the law criminalizing its denial.

On April 3, Armenian representatives will meet with the Prosecutor General of Slovakia to discuss bilateral relations. Afterwards, Mr. Mkrtumyan will deliver a lecture for students of Pan-European University.
