Paper: investigator on mayor fiancé homicide case killed in car accident in Gyumri

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vahram Beybutyan, senior investigator of Armenia’s Shirak province investigation department was killed in a car accident on April 12 night.

Beybutyan was involved in the investigation group examining the murder of Karen Yesayan, fiancé of Armenian northern Gyumri city mayor’s daughter.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan told Haykakan Zhamanak daily that an unidentified vehicle hit Beybutyan at about 1.00 am in Garegin Nzhdeh street in front of Gyumri police department and fled the scene. Beybutyan died on the way to hospital.

Gyumri police shortly found VAZ-21011 car with 45 ՍՕ 132 numbers.

27-year-old Karen Yesayan was shot in Mother Armenia memorial complex in Gyumri city on April 12 night.
