ISO head briefed on Armenian standardization processesApril 18, 2012 - 17:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan met with chairman of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Boris Aleshin and head of Russian Committee for standardization and Metrology Grigory Elkin. Director of Armenian National Institute of Standards (SARM) Yenok Azaryan also attended the meeting. Discussion of issues related to bringing the Armenian standardization field in line with international, European and inter-governmental demands was on meeting agenda. Armenia’s participation in regional processes of standardization field was also in the focus. Mr. Aleshin further noted that Saint Petersburg will host a meeting of ISO General Assembly Committee in 2013.
